Hi, I'm Clara!

I'm a native New Mexican currently based in New York. I'm a member of IATSE local 720 and a graduate of Case Western Reserve University where I majored in theater with a concentration in costume design and minors in Spanish and art history.

I have over five years of experience working professionally in theater. I have had many roles including working on wardrobe run crew, design and assistant design, construction, crafts, and wardrobe. Other roles include Wardrobe Supervisor, Associate and Assistant Costume Designer, Crafts Lead, First Hand, and Lead Stitcher. I love the collaboration and creative problem solving that comes with any area of theatre. In my designs, I frequently feature an array of colors and tend towards an element of humor.
